Hasmik Tonapetyan

Breathwork Practitioner

About

Hasmik Tonapetyan came to breathwork through an unexpected door. She studied Strategic Communication at Washington State University and Conflict Analysis and Mediation at the Kroc School of Peace Studies at the University of San Diego.

That recognition led her to breathwork. Drawing on trauma-informed approaches and conscious connected breathing, Hasmik guides participants into safe yet powerful spaces of self-exploration.

Her path has also been shaped by curiosity about how different cultures approach wellbeing. Hasmik lived in China for two years and traveled across Southeast Asia, exploring Eastern philosophies.

At Wellnest, Hasmik facilitates breathwork sessions that invite participants to pause, turn inward, and examine the narratives they carry.

Offerings

Private Breathwork

Private breathwork sessions with Hasmik offer a deeply personal space for inner exploration, guided by a trauma-informed approach that honors your nervous system's pace. Each session is shaped around your intentions and current state — whether you're navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, a major life transition, or a quiet need for clarity. The rhythm and intensity of the breathing practice are adapted specifically for you, allowing the process to feel both safe and deeply effective. Sessions typically include intention setting, guided breathing, and time for reflection and integration. If you've been feeling like you need space that everyday life isn't offering, this is that space.

Rebirthing Breathwork

Rebirthing Breathwork works through a soft, unbroken breathing rhythm that gradually invites the nervous system to release stored tension and emotion. This practice is particularly supportive for those carrying chronic stress, long-standing anxiety, or breathing patterns that have quietly shaped themselves around self-protection. The process is gentle by design, allowing what needs to surface to do so gradually, at a pace that feels safe. Over time, participants often notice a lighter quality to their body, their breath, and their sense of themselves. No prior breathwork experience is needed. If you have any medical or psychological conditions, please contact Hasmik before registering.

Holotropic Breathwork

Developed by psychiatrist Stanislav Grof, Holotropic Breathwork is one of the most immersive breathwork practices available, combining accelerated breathing with carefully chosen music to support access to deeper layers of the psyche. Participants may encounter powerful emotional experiences, symbolic imagery, or long-held memories that offer insight into unconscious patterns and the narratives shaping their lives. Sessions are held within a trauma-informed framework, with careful attention to nervous system safety and individual pacing throughout. This practice is particularly meaningful for those in periods of significant change, seeking clarity on recurring patterns, or ready for a deeper level of self-exploration. Please contact Hasmik before registering if you have any medical or psychological conditions, or if you are new to breathwork.

Mirror Breathwork

Mirror Breathwork is a practice of radical self-encounter. Breathing consciously while holding your own gaze, you create the conditions for your internal dialogue to become visible — the beliefs, stories, and self-perceptions that quietly shape your confidence, your relationships, and how you move through the world. What many participants find is not what they expected: not discomfort, but recognition. A meeting with themselves that is honest, compassionate, and often long overdue. This session is suitable for all levels and requires no prior breathwork experience. If you have any medical or psychological conditions, please reach out to Hasmik before registering.
